Through Carlmont's journalism program, I discovered my passion for writing and talking to people and the struggles of staying unbiased and maintaining journalistic integrity. Journalism has taught me valuable skills around ethics, meeting new people, integrating myself into the business world, and adjusting to changes since I never know where the story may take me.

I also dedicate myself to water polo and competitive swimming. I am a Girl Scout of Northern California, which allows me to partake in numerous volunteering activities to help younger Girl Scouts and the community. In my free time, I love going to concerts, painting, and traveling the world.
